THE ASK

We actually came about this project through our friends at Meshberg Group who reached out to us because they had done the architectural portion of this condo in Park Slope, Brooklyn. They knew us as the interior design experts and wanted the place to look stunning so they could sell the rental units. They needed interior design for the lounge, party room, and outdoor amenities, and we were more than happy to take it on! The request was for a family-friendly space with a contemporary aesthetic.

THE SOLVE

Our design resulted in a sophisticated lounge where rustic and mid-century furniture come together to create a space that’s textural and moody while still being comfortable. Even though the look is very refined, the sofa fabric and bronze coffee table we chose are pretty much indestructible and ideal for families with children that may occupy the building. We filled the shelves with books of interest from local vintage stores as well as games and interesting curios so the space felt like it had real Brooklyn roots and had been there forever.
