Hi cuties! I’m back again with another home tour video–I had so much fun showing off my coffee table styling tips from my NYC apartment last week that I just couldn’t wait to give you a peek at my bedroom design this week!
Full disclosure: I’m still in the process of adding the perfect final flourishes to this room, but as you’ll see, I love my Oly Studio bed and the very serene color palette (I never met a shade of white that I didn’t want to add to my bedroom design!).

For me, the No. factor that simply makes a bedroom is the serenity and calm factor. We all have so much going on in our lives–work, family, socializing, errands and logistics–so it makes such a difference if you can make your bedroom a true sanctuary to retreat to when the day is done.
I cultivate this sense of calm and comfort by investing in high quality bedding (I am obsessed with this Sferra bedding set) and being very intentional with my all-white palette. It’s important to me that the bedroom feel clean and crisp and untouched by the mess of daily life(I know all my fellow mamas can relate!).

Aside from my canopy bed, my other favorite thing in my bedroom is my Oly Studio nightstands–how sweet are the floral details? Nightstand styling is another key element of bedroom design that can work wonders in setting the tone that you want.

I have styled my nightstands with really bold starburst lamps and, of course, framed photos of my kids. These pieces set the mood for relaxation and the sweetest of dreams. And the first thing I see when I wake up are my kids’ smiling faces!
